WHERE'S MY ORDER? HOW TO BE KIND TO SMALL BUSINESSES & YOUR POSTIES 💖

I know, I know, you've had lots of businesses saying that Royal Mail are experiencing delays.

However, in the meantime if you are still waiting for a delivery, we've put together our suggestions of what to do. Please do SHARE to spread the word! 💞

  1.  Check with members of your household! They may have squirrelled it away thinking it was something they had ordered, put it somewhere random or just forgotten to tell you! 📦

  2.  Have a look around the outside of your property / Check with your neighbours - RM will try to safely deliver your parcel if they don't think you're in or it won't fit in the letter box. Try the bins? Round the back? Behind the gate? Has Doris from next door taken it in for you to stop it getting soggy in the rain? 🏘️

  3. Still no luck? Give it some more time. Royal Mail are working super hard to deal with the crazy amounts of post they are handling due to the two C's (Christmas & COVID!) and are working around the clock to get on top of the backlog. A few more days can make all the difference! 📅

  4. It's not arrived in time? Why not print out a photo of your order & pop it in a nice Christmas card for your recipient to receive on the big day? No printer? Do a little doodle of your gift, write a description of it or just simply say "Santa got a bit delayed with your gift, but it's on it's way!" 🎅🏻. It'll make Christmas last that bit longer too, & that's never a bad thing!

Alternatively we have created a little printable voucher if you want to keep the gift a surprise. There's one if you have ordered from us or one if you have ordered from another small business. Click the thumbnails below to save and print - or you could even email them directly to your recipient!

  5. When it does arrive - let your recipient know & arrange a day to gift it to them, or send it on! You can then shout about how clever you've been shopping small & supporting small businesses this Christmas. You are awesome after all! 🌟

  6. Bought something else? Before asking that small business (who has worked super hard to make your order to you) for a refund, consider if you can put the gift aside for another gifting occasion in the year.... or even for next Christmas🎄. How organised will you be!

Please be kind, mindful and thoughtful when contacting businesses about refunds etc. We're all working super hard fulfilling your orders, and a little patience and kindness goes a long way! 💞
