FIRST A COVID-19 UPDATE FROM OUR FOUNDER DANIELLE  

Further to my update I just wanted to touch base with you all and give you peace of mind that we are still open, we are working hard as a small team, caring for each other and putting daily plans together to sure Ellie Ellie can continue to keep our team safe whilst operating as normal as possible.

I also want to just take this opportunity to thank everyone who has continued to support our small business, we are truly grateful for every single order during this super tough time, so from the bottom of my heart and from the teams, thank you.

BRINGING YOU AND YOUR LOVES ONES TOGETHER 

As many of you know Danielle's mission when she first started the business back in 2012 was to design gifts to bring people together through ALL life's moments, and there couldn't be a more important time for us to focus on that mission than NOW. 

We want to do everything we can during these challenging times for everyone to stay connected with all our loved ones.

Therefore, every order for the foreseeable future will receive a free 'I wish I could self isolate with you' postcard so you can continue to connect those that you are missing during self-isolation.

We want as many people as possible to be able to connect with their loved ones so we have also launched a FREE downloadable version! A small gesture, which will hopefully bring a big smile to someone day during these unprecedented times.

• You will then get given a link to download your artwork (you will get an email too)
• Print the design onto card (we recommend a weight of around 300 GSM)
• Trim down to postcard size, or you could even make them into greeting cards if you fancied. 
• Feel free to print as many as you want, we want to brighten as many people's days as possible
• Pop in the post.

• Join the NHS volunteers scheme- The NHS needs your help and are looking for up to 250,000 volunteers to help up to 1.5 million people who have been asked to shield themselves from the coronavirus because of underlying health conditions. If you think you can help with delivering medicines from pharmacies, driving patients to appointments, bringing people home from the hospital and making calls to check on people isolating at home, you can sign up HERE.

• Thank your postie - One of our business friends, the awesome Auntie Mims has designed a thank you poster for you to print out and pop in your window to thank all the posties and courier who are keep the cogs turning for all the online business. You can download it HERE
  
  
• Give to food banks - Food banks are really struggling at the moment with many closing due to a lack of donations. So when you pop out to get your essentials why not pick up a few extra items and donate them as you leave.
