What are you getting your mum for Mother's Day?
We can’t believe it's already March and Mother’s Day is just around the corner!
In just a less than two weeks on Sunday the 14th of March it will be Mothering Sunday – a special day to appreciate EVERY SINGLE mum, whether she is your biological mother, a grandmother, a big sister, a friend, an aunty, next door neighbour or a single dad, mum’s come from all walks of life and this day is about showing them how much we appreciate all the love and support they give us and a chance to give them a massive thank you.
As you know, at Ellie Ellie we are on a mission to bring people together through all life’s moments and Mother’s day is one our favourite celebrations as we get to celebrate all our amazing mums! It is actually one of favourite collections to design too.

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
My favourite memory with my mum would have to be the Sunday's we used to spend sewing. My mum taught me how to sew from an early age and was the main influence for me going onto study fashion and then ultimately create Ellie Ellie.
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
Going around her house for a yummy Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, I cant wait.

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
All the times I have had the privilege to sing with my Mum over the years, special memories.
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
Having a cup of tea and a cuddle, nothing beats a Mummy cuddle, no matter how old you are

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
Wandering around Exeter Christmas market, buying hot chestnuts and mulled wine, and enjoying the atmosphere with the carol singers and fairy lights
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
Having her come to stay. We haven't seen each other since January 2020 as she lives in Somerset, and I know she is missing seeing her Grandson terribly. Can't wait to see that reunion!

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
Me and my mum went to Italy together for her 60th and my 30th (my birthday is the 14th of June and hers is the 15th of June so we often do joint things together) and it was such a lovely holiday and a memory I will hold forever

Going for tea and cake together

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
I always remember my mum taking me to concerts as a kid (she would even que up in the rain to get tickets while I was at school!) She aided my obsession with boy bands - 911/Blue/Boyzone/Five/Take That and I can't thank her enough.
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
Going to the pub, getting silly on prosecco and putting the world to rights!

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
I still have very fond memories of my Mum taking me and my Brother to London Zoo when we were little (see pic). I can still remember posing for this picture while my Dad took the photo. I think this was just after we had visited the gift shop judging by our hats.
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
Once everything is back to normal it would be great to return the favour and take my Mum back to London Zoo so that we can recreate our photo next to Guy the Gorilla all of these years later.

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
Being poorly with chickenpox when I was about 6 or 7 and doing loads of baking together.
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
Hopefully once lockdown is over we can see my parents, siblings and their families for a big summer BBQ!

What is your favourite memory of you with your mum?
Seeing how much she loves being a Nanny to my daughter and the joy she gets from spending time with her. I appreciate my mum even more than now I am a mum!
What are you looking forward to doing most when you first see them after lockdown ends?
I can't wait to enjoy a spa and pamper day with my mum once lockdown ends.
