Behind The Scenes - Halloween Photoshoot At The Sompting Pumpkin Picking Patch

If you follow us on social media, you'll know that we decided to update our Halloween Jumper photography and the lovely people over at Sompting Pumpkin Picking Patch very kindly allowed us early access to their pumpkin fields for our photo shoot. I was popping on instagram through the day and vlogged the shoot on our stories (you can still see these in our Photoshoots highlight!) and promised you a blog with some of the final shots - so here it is!

Behind The Scenes

I was so surprised by the sheer size of the fields absolutely packed full of pumpkins in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colours - white, green, blue and of course the classic orange.

My absolute favourites were the tiny munchkin pumpkins, which I'm told looks so cute with little candles in - definitely trying that one this year to decorate my fireplace!

We also had a little visitor whilst on the shoot - Minnie the dog! She is owned by Caroline who runs the pumpkin patch, and isn't she gorgeous? She definitely has model experience, and knew how to work the camera!

We got some really amazing new shots of the jumpers (scroll down to see the final images), and I took some quick snaps for the "behind the scenes" side to show you the makings of our images:

Open 9:30am – 4:00pm select days in October:

17th – 18th

23rd – 31st

They also have free entry and free parking, and it really does make a lovely social distancing activity - perfect for Half Term or even on Halloween itself!

A big thank you to Caroline and the team (and Minnie of course!) for letting use their fields!

The Final Images

I am so chuffed with how the images turned out - the moody skies and autumnal colours look amazing and I really hope you like them too!

Which is your favourite? I think mine has to be the Cat Face and Tail design, inspired by Pickle my cat!
