Halloween Inspiration – Easy 3-step spider face paint for kids

It’s well and truly autumn now, which means we’re on the lookout for some Halloween Inspiration!

The joy of getting dressed up and spooking the neighbours to get sweet treats is a fun part of childhood which we’ll always remember. However no child’s Halloween outfit is complete without a fun face paint design to finish off the outfit!

We asked our Creative Team manager’s son Echo to choose a face paint design to go with his ‘Personalised Little Monster Sweatshirt’. Echo said he’d like to have a spider’s web painted on his face as mummy is scared of spiders! 🕷️

This is a really simple face paint look which only takes two colours – black & white. Follow our step-by-step guide to do it yourself!

1. Using a sponge (usually provided in face paint sets) dab a thin layer of white face paint all over the face, being careful to avoid the eyes and mouth.

2. With a fine paintbrush, draw a half spider’s web on the left-hand-side of the face, framing the eye and add a hanging spider from the web down the cheek.

3. With the same brush, repeat the spider web design on the right-hand-side of the face, this time starting lower down, just below the eye.

4. And that’s it! Your scary spider web face paint is complete!
